WWE released former Raw and NXT Tag Team Champions Akam and Rezar (AOP).
As reported here on WrestlingNews.com, the duo had been off television since March when Rezar suffered a biceps injury. F4WOnline.com hears Rezar was fully cleared to the ring when he was released.
Paul Heyman was behind the push of AOP and given his relegation back to an on-screen character, there were no creative plans for the duo.
