The Tooth and Nail cinematic match-up between Britt Baker and Big Swole at AEW All Out was done to protect Baker, F4WOnline hears.
Baker is still not 100% following her leg injury suffered on an episode of Dynamite back in May. For those that do not remember, Baker sustained an anterior lateral tibial fracture, a partial lateral collateral ligament tear and a small degree tendon tear.
AEW operated under the assumption she would be set for the show, which is why they continued to build to the culmination of her program with Swole.
As reported here on WrestlingNews.com, the Tooth and Nail cinematic bout was originally scheduled for the Buy In pre-show. After Tony Khan saw footage of the match and liked it, he moved it to the main pay-per-view. There was also heavy criticism on social media about the match being on the pre-show.
Big Swole went over via KO. Our All Out results are online at this link.
