Ric Flair was on the latest episode of Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling podcast.
He started the pod by explaining that his wife, Wendy Barlow, is doing better in her diagnosis with coronavirus. It has been three weeks, he has taken her to the hospital twice, once for an IV and the second time to just make sure she was OK.
He then talked about his heart surgery last year to have a pacemaker put in. Flair explained he and Wendy remain well isolated from one another in their large home.
Book talked about how close he and Flair have gotten over the years. Book said he just hoped they can all get past coronavirus.
Last week, The New York Post reported Flair’s wife was diagnosed with the virus and he had it too. Ric denied that and stated while she was positive, he was not infected.
He was scheduled to be at the WWE Raw tapings last week in the corner of Randy Orton but was pulled due to concerns regarding COVID-19. It is unknown if there are plans for him to return as Orton’s manager for his SummerSlam match against Drew McIntyre.
