Chelsea Green Injured During SmackDown Debut

After months of anticipation, Chelsea Green debuted on SmackDown in a four-way Survivor Series qualifying match. Unfortunately, it appears Green has suffered a broken wrist after barely working the match.

This news was first reported by Sean Ross Sapp, and has now been confirmed by WWE.com:

“During Friday’s Fatal 4-Way Match for the opportunity to qualify for the SmackDown Women’s Survivor Series team, Chelsea Green suffered a broken left wrist.

Chelsea was taken to a local medical facility for further evaluation.

Sapp is also reporting that the match finish had to be changed on the fly as a result. Liv Morgan ended up going over Tamina Snuka to qualify for the SmackDown women’s team.

Green suffered a broken wrist in March 2019 during her time in NXT and was out of action until the end of June 2019. She took to Instagram to confirm the news herself with a photo from the hospital:
