Lana took to Twitter a few hours ago to address the threats, hatred, and displeasure shown towards both her and Liv Morgan since last night. Here are the Tweets:
For people growing up in religious homes, different parts of the world & cultures you have no idea how complicated it can get when it comes to ones sexuality. So in 2020 please let’s not judge & assume. But let’s show more empathy, sympathy & compassion. #HappyNewDecade

Don’t assume someone’s sexuality. Just because they are not out spoken in the LGTBQ community doesn’t mean that they’re not pansexual, bisexual, gay, transgender or trying to process their sexuality. Even if they are married. For many it’s complicated. Please have compassion

The cyber bullying I have endured for love & living my best life the past couple months has been absolutely insane. Focus on bettering yourself in 2020, instead of what you don’t support in others. #happynewyear2020

You can hate on me & assume everything you want, that’s fine. But there is many others that are not as thick skinned & resilient as I am. So in this new decade, please try to not ASSUME what & who people are. Please have empathy, sympathy & compassion to others. #HappyNewDecade

I stand and support what she said 100%, but I can’t help but wonder if the tweets regarding sexuality is in complete storyline or not. This trainwreck of a storyline falls completely on the heads of those that wrote and OK’ed it, which was Paul Heyman. I understand it’s storyline, but this is still very sensitive and taboo in today’s world, and if not done correctly, can backfire significantly.
