As seen on this week’s episode of WWE NXT on the USA Network, Velveteen Dream was removed from his scheduled North American Title bout against Roderick Strong that was planned for next week’s broadcast.
Dream is not medically cleared to compete due to a back injury, reports Dave Meltzer. The injury is something Dream had been trying to work through, previously termed a lumbar injury, but apparently it’s gotten worse.
Velveteen Dream hasn’t worked since losing the title to Strong on the Sept. 18 episode of WWE NXT.
