Paige is set to return to WWE Backstage this week and there continues to be a lot of talk about what is next for her career.
The former WWE Divas Champion has been teasing something big coming up soon, which has resulted in a lot of speculation. There are some that believe she could be returning to the ring to take part in the Women’s Royal Rumble match at the pay-per-view later this month.
Paige never really had closure to her in-ring career due to neck problems.

As mentioned in our article about Edge and rumors of his return, WWE has been very cautious in clearing talent from serious head/neck injuries. However, both Daniel Bryan and Kurt Angle gained clearance to work again, which could bode well for Paige’s chances of receiving similar clearance.
She talked early last year about wanting to wrestle again after her WWE contract expired. However, Paige recently signed a five-year deal to remain with WWE, so she won’t be doing anything outside of the company unless she would get released.
Nothing is set in stone but Paige is yet another name to watch as the new year gets under way and two of WWE’s biggest pay-per-views of the year come up.
