Vince McMahon is not backstage at tonight’s WWE SmackDown/205 Live taping in Baton Rouge, LA, reports Bryan Alvarez.
Vince went over the SmackDown script with the creative team via a conference call earlier this afternoon. He missed last week’s RAW and SmackDown because he was preparing for the XFL announcements made last Wednesday. There is no word as to why he isn’t at SmackDown as of this writing.
This week’s SmackDown will feature two King of the Ring matches, including Shelton Benjamin vs. Chad Gable and Ali vs. Buddy Murphy. Other angles teased include Rowan and Daniel Bryan demanding an apology from Roman Reigns, Clash of the Champions build and more.
