We have a new NXT champion.
Finn Balor successfully captured the NXT Championship in a one on one contest with Adam Cole that had no time limit. This match came about after Adam Cole and Balor went to a draw last week during the hour-long fatal 4-way match on last week’s NXT Super Tuesday show.
The NXT Championship was vacated after Karrion Kross relinquished the title due to injury. Finn Balor now becomes only the third man in NXT history to become a two-time NXT Champion, after Samoa Joe and Shinsuke Nakamura.
