AEW announcer Alex Marvez indicated on Twitter the promotion has signed eSports host/announcer Alex “Goldenboy” Mendez. The following is from Twitter:

Goldenboy was part of the commentary team at AEW Fyter Fest, sitting in for Alex Marvez.
Another announcer AEW has shown interest in is Mike Tenay. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports AEW head of production Keith Mitchell has had talks with Tenay about working for them. Tenay has offers from other companies but hasn’t signed anything yet. WWE reportedly reached out to Tenay about the GM role for 205 Live, which ended up going to Drake Maverick.
